Leti to Demo World’s First Wireless UNB Transceiver that Enables Apps for ‘Massive Internet of Things’
Leti will demonstrate the world's first wireless transceiver dedicated to ultra-narrow-band communication at the joint conferences RFIC 2017 and IMS 2017 in Honolulu, Hawaii, June 4-9
Coinciding with the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, Korea, the prototype will be first time state-of-the-art terrestrial wireless communication, including future key enablers such as mmWave access, will be seamlessly combined with disruptive satellite communication. This will form a 5G network with multi-radio-access technologies that is optimized to serve user equipment in various applications.
Leti's paper at the European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP) characterizes the propagation channel in the V- and E-bands for indoor scenarios.
